The Game of Thrones finale was tonight and it gives some clues to possible spin off shows! Check out my Game of Thrones review and theories!
WARNING- THIS POST CONTAINS GAME OF THRONES SPOILERS
Tonight was the series finale of Game of Thrones and after last weeks uproar from fans, the season had some living up to do. Long story short, I absolutely LOVED it. I thought they ended things perfectly and gave so much hope for the future. Before we go on to talk about the clues that writers left for possible spin off shows, first check out my video review:
Five Possible Spin Off Shows
Age Of Heroes
HBO has already released there WILL be a prequel to Game of Thrones and George R.R. Martin is working with HBO writers on the project! Check out what HBO released on the series below.
Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend, only one thing is for sure: It’s not the story we think we know.
Ayra The Explorer
The season finale ends with many of our favorite characters heading on to start new chapters in their lives. Ayra is heading out west, the UNKNOWN area to explore what is not mapped yet. New people and new lands to discover would make a great spin off show!
Jon Snow Becomes A Wildling
Jon Snow always did love the Wildlings and even fell for Ingrid in earlier seasons. The finale left off with Jon Snow banned to the wall and he meets up with his Wildling friends as they venture beyond the wall into Wildling land! The Wildlings were always a fun bunch to watch, with their wild ways and Giants and I believe this would be such a fun spin off show to watch!
Tyrion The Hand
I really doubt we will see Tyrion again in any of the spin off shows, or even Kings Landing for that matter but with Bran now King and Tyrion the brains behind running the new kingdom, I want to watch more than ever!! So, a series as Tyrion The Hand would be my greatest wish but it probably won’t happen!
Winterfell
The North is left as a free land with the new ruler being Sansa. Everyone was always interested in the North anyways and it would make sense to have a spin off show on Sansas rule as Queen of the North! We will see what is to come but one thing is for sure, fans will be waiting with baited breath for any little glimpse back into the world of the Thrones we miss already!
